Biochemical validation of the salvage pathway that bypasses collapsed replication
Genomic DNA replication is hampered by several sorts of DNA damages, which potentially result in collapse of replication fork. This is thought to recover by recombination-mediated salvage pathway. In this study, we aim at elucidating the mechanism underlying recovery of collapsed replication fork by reconstituting the process using purified protein components.
