Modality of chromatin viscoelasticity and loop formation based on Hi-C data

This study will characterize the viscoelastic properties related to the 3D genome structure and dynamics of several hundred kb loop domains. In particular, using high-resolution Hi-C data of loop domains mediated by SMC complexes, our original PHi-C analysis method will reveal the viscoelastic state of chromatin related to loop structure and theoretically elucidate the loop formation mechanism consistent with such viscoelasticity.
